Owen Arthur To Spell Out The Implications Of The CSME In The US
The Prime Minister of Barbados, Mr Owen Arthur, is to deliver a lecture on the subject of the Caribbean Single Market Economy (CSME) in the United States next month focusing on the impact the free market will have on US/Caribbean relations.
The Special Symposium to take place on April 2 at Medgar Evers College in New York, is aimed primarily at increasing awareness and support of the CSME within the United States government, private sector and news media.
The Barbadian Prime Minister has been designated by the leaders of Caricom nations as the spokesman on CSME matters.
