IoM Announces Increase In Company Registry Fees

The Government of the Isle of Man announced late last week that with effect
from April 6th 2008, the fees charged in the Companies Registry are being increased.
The fees to be increased are:-
- All fees payable under the Companies acts, except the annual return fee;
- All fees payable under the LLC Act;
- All fees payable under the Transfer of Domicile Act;
- All fees payable under the Business Names Acts;
- Photocopying and copy certification;
- Taking oaths & declarations and witnessing exhibits; and
- All fees payable on the registration of documents for Limited Partnerships.
Details of the new fees are contained within the following Regulations:
Companies (Fees, Duties and Penalties) Regulations 2008 – SD 83/2008;
Companies (Fees and Duties) Order 2008 – SD 84/2008;
Limited Liability Companies (Fees and Duties) Order 2008 – SD 85/2008;
Companies (Transfer of Domicile) (Fees and Duties) Order 2008 – SD 86/2008;
Insurance Companies (Transfer of Domicile) (Fees and Duties) Order 2008 –
SD 87/2008;
Companies Registry (Miscellaneous Fees) Order 2008 – SD 88/2008;
Partnership (Fees) Rules 2008 – SD 89/2008;
The Registration of Business Names (Fees and Duties) Rules 2008 – SD 90/2008.
