Fsharp Appoints New Managing Director
Ian
Montgomery has been appointed as the new Managing Director
of Fsharp, the Bank of Ireland's (BOI) Isle of Man offshore internet
bank which was launched in September. Mr Montgomery has been with BOI
since 1997 and has worked extensively on the centralization
of their offshore banking operations and the launch of Fsharp.
Prior to joining BOI he was the Managing Director of Northern
Bank's offshore banking and financial services operations. Mr Montgomery said "the internet
is heralding a revolution for banking worldwide. My goal is to
encourage English speaking expatriates to do their offshore banking
online and to offer them a world class service via the internet'. .
