The Cayman Islands Financial Services Association (CIFSA) has announced that AON Cayman National, Chris Johnson Associates, EFG Wealth Management, Santander Bank and Stuarts Walker Hersant are the latest institutions to join its growing list of members, which now stands at a record high.

CIFSA currently has 43 member organizations - 37 private sector members and 6 association members - and continues to grow.

Founded in November 2003, the Cayman Islands Financial Services Association (CIFSA) was formed to represent Cayman’s financial services industry, and to promote the jurisdiction as a quality international financial services centre.

“The recent success of CIFSA’s increased membership shows that it is not only the mission of CIFSA but that of the entire industry to continue to communicate the integrity and strength of the financial services industry in the Cayman Islands,” commented Jeremy Smith, a Director of CIFSA and a Partner at Deloitte.

Peter Popo, Managing Director of Aon Cayman National Insurance Brokers added that: "We are pleased to become part of CIFSA’s ranks and are delighted to be members of the association. CIFSA has made significant contributions to improve the international perceptions of the financial services industry and we look forward to supporting their continued success.”

A not-for-profit association, CIFSA is funded by its private sector members. The CIFSA board and membership also comprises the Islands’ key associations, including: the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants (CISPA), the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Cayman Islands Fund Administrators Association (CIFAA), the Company Managers Association (CICMA), the Bankers Association (CIBA) and the Insurance Managers Association (IMAC).
